Playing In My Boots

We had Aunt Lynda, Uncle Dale & Darren Here this past weekend (my Mom's Aunt and Uncle). Of course it rained. They live in Brookings which is on the coast so they probably brought it with them. On Saturday it stopped raining for a while and it was actually kind of nice. We put Cruz in his John deer boots and him and Katie wandered around outside for a bit. His first stop was the mud puddles. Had to stomp threw every one. Laughed the whole time. After about 10 minutes of that next stop was the shop. He decided to take a little walk to see the tractor at the garden. Dad finally came out and told him to get back down here and he came struttin back. After a few minutes of being outside and a few mud puddle splashes to the legs Katie was done outside. She went in a little upset, trying to convince everyone that her little Brother was a demon. Once she was aware of Hannah Montana re-runs on T.V. she forgot all about it. The rain started back in, then it was indoors for a kick back and relax weekend.

Neck Ache...Faker

My dad has a lot of neck aches. Whenever we travel he ALWAYS takes a neck pillow for in the car and wears it, even at home sometimes. His neck pillow he keeps in his lower living and Cruz now thinks that it his room to. So everything in it, he thinks he is entitled to also. Now since the neck pillow of my Dads is kept there he puts it on his neck and carries it around. We were out shopping one day and ran across this monkey neck pillow. The first time we gave it to him he knew just what it was for. Around the neck it went. He would try to look at it and then once he figured out he could chew on it well, there went the head. He uses it to watch T.V. or just to run around with. But most of the time he wears it to compare his with Papa's.

My First Coloring!

Cruz is now getting to the age that IF you contain him coloring COULD be a possibility. So I though what the heck. So down to Wal-Mart we go. He was so excited getting to rip what color he chose of the rack. Once our Wal-Mart trip was complete we headed for home. I put him in his high chair and prepared for the worst. Turns out he did really good. He had to turn them all around every time I gave him a new color and just check it out.
When the color hit the paper he was all excited. After about 10 or so minutes he was pretty much ready to be turned loose again. I took the marker and colored his hands with it and we stamped some hand prints in the three colors. He was looking at me like I had lost my mind. But once we mov
ed on to a new color he thought that it was exciting. While I was getting a was cloth he was stamping his high chair and laughing. After A clean up he is un-caged and ready to go back to "Hurricane" mode.
