The Chair and An Update

Hello to all. I really haven't updated much on how we are all doing. Things are moving along pretty well here. Spring Break is this week. Katie is enjoying her time off...She says's she can't wait for Monday to come. I think she is ready to go back! she missed the week before because she was really sick. Cruz is just getting over his stuff. When one gets it the other is not far behind. They are getting along great. Katie is a great big Sister. She says he bothers her sometimes but they work it out. She just organized her room yesterday and this morning I seen a sign on the door "Cruz is not aloud in here." If her door is open he's going in. All the stuff she has he only sits in her chair. Every time he V lines for it and just laughs. She calls him Chunky and it must be her tone because he just laughs at her. He just got a new chair. He had a foam one and tries to tip it over and were afraid he is gonna get hurt, so he got a sturdy one. He still climbs in it and shakes it BUT it don't go nowhere. It's just his level and when he wants to sit down he puts his hands behind his back and backs up to it then sits. It's really cute. Cam and I are doing good. I had food poisoning for 4 days! YUCK but I lived to tell. Cam has been working like crazy. The Portland job is all done so he has been working at the University of Oregon and doing a house on the side. My Aunt and Uncle from Brooking are coming this weekend and hopefully we get some nice weather soon. But hey it's Oregon it's suppose to rain. You think I would be use to it after 27 years! Talk to you all soon!

Portland Trip

On Sunday Cam, Katie, Cruz, Destanee and I took a small road trip to Portland. Our intentions...Shopping! We stopped off at Woodburn at the new Coach outlet, then went on to Pioneer Place @ downtown Portland. We had lunch and walked around. Visited the Coach store of course while Katie and Destanee shopped at the candy store. The weather wasn't the best so our outside shopping was cut short. After we loaded back up we headed to Washington Square mall. When we got parked and were ready to unload Cameron decided he needed to work on the Bugaboo (Stroller) something to do with a flat tire. So 20 minutes later we are on our way in lol. We are pretty big fans of tea. In the mall they have a place called Teavana. They make some of the best teas, well we were running low so we had to get a re-fill on our cans for home. The girls went crazy at Gordivia the chocolate place. It was starting to get kinda late so we headed out. We at dinner at probably the best steakhouse ever...McCormick & Schmicks. Cruz must have drank toooooo much tea because he was all rilled up. Holy cow, Cam had to take him and detain him. After a great dinner we headed south for home and Monday (Spring Break) to begin...YEAH!!

Cheeseburger Face...You Have New Picture Mail

Papa was eating a cheeseburger and Cruz wanted a bite. He chomped down like he had been eating them forever. Everybody thought it was pretty funny about the way his face looked after a bite. Everybody laughed and Cruz ran around laughing and chanting.

Once he came back into the kitchen, Dad got his phone out and took a picture. My Dad is the only person that can say picture and he will stop in his tracks and just smile.
Must have been a pretty good burger thats a BIG smile!

The Scarf

Cruz has this scarf he packs around pretty much everywhere. He even tries to sleep with it. I have had the scarf for about 4 years now. Its been up in the closet until recently and now has a new owner. Were not quite sure what it is about the scarf but he thinks it's the greatest thing ever.

He walks up to you and your suppose to take it from him and he will run into the corner and wait for you to lift it in the air and make weird windy noises. He starts to shake and close his eyes and run, with his hands held up high in the air.

In these photos Destanee (Cousin) came out and was not familiar with the routine, but quickly learned it well. He ran around her several times screaming, hollering and stomping.

The Coast

This weekend we (Mom, Dad, Cam, Me, Kiddo's, Myron) went to Lincoln City. We left Friday and stayed till Sunday. We all had a great time. It was nice to get away and not have to be committed to something. So the ride down started a little rough. Cam and I picked up Myron and went up HWY 101 threw Florence. When we got to Florence we stopped so I could change Cruz and Myron and I could switch seats. Cruz had been a little unhappy for the past 30 min. After clean Jammie's had to be after clean cloths. He projectile vomits everywhere. Well, everywhere just being on me, hair and all. Myron was thinking his lucky stars we had switched seats. I think we even caught him doing a "think god it wasn't me dance" when we fueled up in Newport. So continuing down the coast I think we finally made it at about 9:00. Our hotel was situated directly on the beach. YEAH, yeah not really. Paranoia sets in for me. I am checking out the tsunami evacuation routs and listening for that siren from when we get there till we leave. And boy did we picked a great weekend to go. Storming like crazy. Rain, Wind and COLD!!! Perfect weather for those "clear out the town" waves. Once we got all settled it turns out pretty good.

My Dad had headache the whole trip so he was a layed up and lil crabby. The hotel we stayed in was a loft 2 bedroom 3 bathroom. And tons of cupboards for the kids to hide it. They were everywhere. Screaming at each other, yelling and having a great time. The people below us probably thought they were sleeping in the animal park. We checked out the outlet mall...ate some seafood and just relaxed.

Cruz is into garbage cans. So he would try to relocate them all in the hotel or just pack them around. Katie brought a stack of movies well I should rephrase that...A stack full of George Lopez shows. Before we know it Sunday rolls around and it's back to real life Monday!!

Siblings

These are few and far between. They looks so nice together when they are cooperating with each other. Cruz I think, thinks he runs the show. Katie thinks she runs the show cause she is older. And then they but heads. Before you know it one is running and the other is chasing the running one around the house. 99 percent of the time on gets hurt and they just can't understand why. For whatever reason Cruz can seem to keep a shoe on the left foot. Never messes with the right foot.
But stick something on the left one and its gone. He takes his sock and tries to wear it like a scarf. Behind the head it goes. And runs around the house like that. One shoe on one shoe off. The steps are now his biggest challenge. Going down into both living rooms require you to step down two steps in each room. He started by back crawling down them. Then a few wekks ago it went to holding on the the wall. Then last night it's belly and head first. Any distructive or rough thing he can do he's right on top of it!

Katie & Cruz

Katie being Katie. Always smiling. She'll stop drop and pose in a flash...If you can catch her. She's now into appearance so don't even come at her with a camera before she is dressed. She just blonde added to her hair for some highlights. She wanted Robin RED! Holy crap what am I getting into :) So we talked her into doing red maybe when she gets her own house. She didn't agree with that. BUT she did agree to when she starts dating so heck I went with that. The way I see it she'll be 40 before that happens ;)

Katie and Cruz very seldom get pics together. Not because of any bad reason, well the truth is he thinks she is playing with him at all times and I guess tries to defend himself. So he pulls hair and swings at her. So when we try to get a pic of them she takes off. And of course he thinks it's funny.

I think she still plans on being a vet or something to do with animals. She swears up and down there is NO way she is having kids. I think she watches a little to much Maternity Ward on TLC. So she says that's out. She plans on having a big place that people can come and drop their animals off at and believe it or not at no charge! And hey if you want to leave them there and not come back for them well that's OK with her :) WOW I didn't think I had my life planned at 7. We ask her well how you gonna pay for this? Her answer..."I'm going to work at Starbucks in the day." I almost lost it when she said that. But She was serious. So I had to turn away and go laugh. HOPEFULLY She changes her mind...

Well , finally caught! The picture that says it all. We have been trying to think of a permanent nickname for him and a lot fit but we haven't found the right one until this weekend. Papa came up with Nitro. When you tell him no he gives you the evil eye runs and laughs. Usually he will come back right away and watch you pick up what he has destroyed and continue to tell you HI 500 times and stomp around. The more the mess and louder the boom the better. And heck if you have to get the broom out you'll have all the help you need. He can even stomp in you pile. He loves to help with the dish washer. He was helping the other night and dropped a plate on the top of his foot. Blackened his foot and turned his big toe black also. He sure didn't give up though! He was back at it the next morning.

This is the "Sink Eye" he is so notorious for. Anytime he sees a finger pointed at him or the word NO this is what you get. He usually turns it right around with a laugh. He usually don't hold to much of a grudge. He just got his hair cut here and parades around in his Spider man Jammie's with a cape on the back. Cam and him think they are on the same team 99 percent of the time. Cruz very seldom gives him the stink eye. They have some type of buddy system worked out I think...

Fresh Start

So we had some issues with the last blog. I probably messed it up BUT...since we can't confirm it we'll say the computer did. I really didn't update much but, I am going to try as much as possible and fill everyone in on the details that's going on with us. We are spending this weekend at the coast with My Mom and Dad and Cam's Dad Myron. I should have some great pics for next time I post. Cam and I are in the process of getting a house. We are looking at some land as we speak, we have a Realtor!! YEAH A step closer, hopefully soon! Totally Polished is doing great. We are running specials like crazy and having a great time! Cam has been working all over the place. Portland is his current location. Canyonville (Casino), Salem (Capital Building), Eugene (University) are the other few he's been working. The Kids are great. Katie is loving school she just got over pneumonia. She's getting excited for the longer days and nicer weather so she can spend her afternoons outside. Cruz, well where do I start. That little boy we should have named Cane for Hurricane. If I could go back I would change his name. Only if we knew lol. He is into everything, destroys everything. Very nosy and wants to be involved with everybody including the dog. He has a sweet/devilish/fun personality now. There's never a dull moment around that boy. Well I better get I have to pick up Katie in 20 minutes. Check back this weekend for current pics from the coast trip!
